One of my favorite Jacksonville destinations is Five Points. It's one of the city's hubs for creativity where you'll find cute vintage shops, great antiquing, lots of hipsters, and the coziest little tea room. It's also the epicenter of some of Jax's best culinary ventures. For a charming summer afternoon spent shopping I chose this ladylike little number to stay cool, and stylish.
Easy Breezy
I love this little number from Destination Maternity. The fabric is ultra light (perfect for hot humid days in Florida), and flowy. I love the navy and white stripes. Easy to style more nautical, or to don for a business luncheon. I chose a small in this one and it had plenty of room to grow.

Liberties
Simple and timeless accessories bring a subtle pop to the look without making it feel like a costume. These neutral sandals and this envelope clutch could be styled a variety of ways, but worked perfectly with this look. Pearl earrings never go out of style and were the ideal accent to this hat and effortless up do.
This red, white, and blue ensemble came together in perfect time for the summer holidays. Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day have you feeling patriotic? This is a chic way to get into the American spirit without feeling so over the top. Folks don't rock cloche hats very much any more, but I'm pretty much a sucker for hats and this one has been in my closet a few years. I picked it up at World Market but here are some similar choices.
Before leaving we noticed this wishing tree. We took a moment to reflect on the wishes attached. From longevity, to health and happiness, it's amazing how much we are all alike in our goals and dreams. What are you wishing for today? Let me know in the comments below.
Until then...
Enjoy the Journey!
