The third and final look from my Montana media trip with Firehouse Subs was a little more bohemian inspired. I found dark colors were the ideal choice for the Wild West since the winds were whipping and the dark colors hid the trail dust well. Layers also came in handy as the afternoons were warm, but as twilight set the evening got quite chilly. Read on for more details on what I wore...
Checklist:
Head Gear: Felt Hat
This hat was an inexpensive find from Target at the turn of the season. I didn't want to invest in a pricey cool weather hat right when Florida was warming up so I was lucky to grab this one right in time for my spring time trip to Montana. It kept my head warm and looked super cute at the same time. Score for a fashionable and functional find.
Back to Basics: Black Tank
I love this top because it will go with anything, get me through the summer in my third trimester, and I should still be able to rock it post baby without it looking like a maternity shirt. It was a super affordable find from Motherhood.
Leg Warmers: Maternity Friendly Skinny Jeans
These are actually hand me downs from a friend. A great transition piece they aren't actually maternity wear but served the intended purpose as I was at the tail end of fitting in non maternity wear. These maternity jeans are a great choice too.
Layers: Crochet Duster
The one I chose was a fall find from Marshalls. Not super warm, but when you're pregnant you kind of have your own heating element going on.
Boots: Equestrian Boots
I love my Western Boots that I brought, but these Vince Camuto Equestrian Boots add a bit more elegance to the look. I literally wear these all fall, but they were also a perfect addition to this transitional season ensemble.
Finish the Look: Something Shiny
I topped this look off with some mix and match pieces from Stephanie Kantis' stunning line. I love her pieces because they are so versatile and can be layered and worn many different ways which is ideal for travel. They also make you look like a million bucks! I also have a few oldies from my jewelry box thrown in there for good measure.
